Management Buyout and Board Restructure
Playfords Ltd is pleased to announce the completion of a management buyout and restructure of the Board of directors.
Playfords have developed to become a leading Building Services Contractor with offices in Huntingdon, Durham and Dartford with over 95 years of experience and expertise in the fields of electrical & mechanical services, renewable energy, voice & data cabling and audio visual & IT networking – the complete solution for all buildings M&E services installations.
The MBO heralds a new era for Playfords Ltd which is approaching 100 Years in business in 2025. This has provided the business with an appropriate leadership structure to make possible the retirement of our existing Shareholders and continue to drive Playfords forward into the future.
The new shareholders, James Tuohy – Managing Director who headed up the acquisition of the management buyout along with Andy Downing – Group Operations Director and Dave Miller – Northern Operations Director will be working with our retiring Directors to allow a smooth transition and continuation of services to our many valued clients.
The new Owners would like to thank Alan Tuohy, Julian Winspear and Mick Tee for their dedication and drive during the past years as a Directors and Shareholders of Playfords Ltd.
